PFI organises hate parade in Kerala; workers dressed in RSS uniform walk with chains

PFI rally in Kerala depicts the Moplah massacre of Hindus, parades chained people in RSS uniform

The Popular Front of India (PFI) has taken out a march in Kerala's Malappuram where the members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were allegedly depicted by individuals role-playing in handcuffs.

In a shocking rally in Kerala today, the Popular Front of India (PFI), an extremist Islamist organization, chose to do a rally parading men dressed in RSS uniforms. The men being paraded were also chained. The audio and visuals from the rally confirm a lot of Islamic chanting, including Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illallah muhammadur rasulullah, and others chanted during the procession.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

Some of the chants during the procession were potentially incendiary, including calls to chain RSS members. Apart from people in RSS uniforms, the rally also had people dressed as British officers, chained and tied with ropes, with the other end of the rope held by people in skullcaps and lungis. The RSS and British dressed people were followed by a large group of people holding lathis, dresssed in skullcaps and lungis.

The estimated Hindu deaths of the ethnic cleansing in Moplah massacre tantamount to somewhere around 10,000 and it is believed that as many a 100,000 Hindus were forced to leave Kerala in the wake of the riots.

Annie Besant described the events in her book ‘The Future of Indian Politics’ as: “They murdered and plundered abundantly, and killed or drove away all Hindus who would not apostatize. Somewhere about a lakh of people were driven from their homes with nothing but the clothes they had on, stripped of everything. Malabar has taught us what Islamic rule still means, and we do not want to see another specimen of the Khilafat Raj in India”.

Babasaheb Ambedkar in his book, Pakistan or the Partition of India, wrote, “The blood-curdling atrocities committed by the Moplas in Malabar against the Hindus were indescribable. All over Southern India, a wave of horrified feeling had spread among the Hindus of every shade of opinion, which was intensified when certain Khilafat leaders were so misguided as to pass resolutions of “congratulations to the Moplas on the brave fight they were conducting for the sake of religion”.”
The number of Hindu Temples that were destroyed in the genocide is speculated to be a hundred. Forcible conversion of Hindus were rampant and unspeakable atrocities were poured upon Hindus.

Last year in January, the Yogi Adityanath U.P. Government had asked for a ban on PFI because of the violence caused by PFI during the anti-CAA riots. The Central Government deferred the banning of PFI because of anti-CAA violence and nothing has come of it yet.

Reacting to the viral video, PFI's Anees Ahmed said, "The video that is going viral actually belongs to the depiction by the people of Malabar during a programme of PFI. The people of the region respect their heritage and the particular drama represents a fight that happened between the Britishers and the people of Malabar in 1921."

"Every year people celebrate the occasion here and the idea that was being depicted in this particular video was that the people of Malabar played an essential role in fighting against the external threat of British imperialism in 1921 and now when RSS is posing the internal threat of fascism, people of Malabar will also confront them and protect our country," he add.
