In an earlier series, Hindu Society under Siege, I had dealt with the forces which threaten Hindu society, and are striving to throttle it out of existence with aid and abetment from their international allies.

The Delhi HC (High Court) refused to entertain a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) that sought the removal of misleading claims regarding Mughal rulers Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb found in class 12 NCERT history textbook. The Delhi HC further remarked that the petitioner should file petitions on tax evasion while referring to him as a ‘champion of PILs’. It also stated that PILs were being filed randomly.

The Supreme Court on Friday ruled in favor of a Muslim petitioner and permitted people from all religions to participate in the process of auction of leases of shops in the Sri Bramaramamba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple at Kurnool Andhra Pradesh and in the shopping complex, until the time SC delivers a final judgement on the matter, reports LiveLaw.in.

Over the last few weeks, Hindus in Aotearoa have been actively trying to engage with Massey University to raise concern and issue regarding a publication promoting Hinduphobia and Hindumisia. The paper titled ‘Cultural Hindutva and Islamophobia’ was authored by Prof. Mohan J. Dutta, Dean’s Chair Professor in Communication, School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing, Massey University.

Some of the guidelines seem to be good. It is eminently desirable that 'the ancient period of Indian history cannot be referred to as the Hindu period and the medieval period as the Muslim period'. It follows, though it is not mentioned in the guidelines reported by the Indian Express, that the modern period of Indian history also will not be named as the British period. This scheme of periodization, however, was given up by most historians quite some time ago. One only wonders what the votaries of Islamic imperialism will do without a Muslim period of Indian history.
